Purpose
The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is now accepting continuation applications for the Hospital-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Program (HVIPP). HVIPPs are multidisciplinary programs that combine the efforts of medical staff with trusted community-based partners to provide safety planning, services, and trauma-informed care to victims injured in gun violence and their families.
Applicant Eligibility
This solicitation invites continuation of Fiscal Year 2024-2025 grants. This continuation opportunity is only open to organizations that currently receive DCJS funding to support HVIPP projects. Further, this funding is only open to those organizations that can coordinate the establishment or enhancement of HVIPP projects in multiple hospital locations statewide.

Applications must be submitted in the On-line Grant Management System (OGMS). To access OGMS, visit https://ogms.dcjs.virginia.gov.
